Since the company was founded in 1984, Denipro AG has been setting the standard in inte¬grated production logistics. The genius of an innovation is often based on simplicity. Denipro replaces sliding friction with rolling friction. The surface on which the belt moved in the past has been replaced by rollers. This lowers friction, resistance and the strain on the belt, heat is no longer generated and the power needed for the drive is cut by as much as 80 percent. Less energy is needed for con¬veyance and transport, and CO2 emissions are cut. Denipro’s recently developed product families – deniroll®, denirug®, deniconda® denimove® and easychain® – thus optimise sliding conveyor technology. The deniway® plate chain conveyor, meanwhile, is the result of a long process of continuous development and opens up undreamed-of possibilities in rolling conveyor technology.
The developers at Denipro work in partnership with the Technical Universities of Chemnitz in Germany and Parma in Italy. The company has around 150 specialist staff working at its head office in Weinfelden, Switzerland. High traction forces come into play in connection with curves and spiral conveyors. Sliding friction leads to excessive wear and tear and to high energy consumption. But it doesn’t have to be like this. With the deniroll® curve support system, the conveyor belt no longer takes the curve on a slide rail. Instead, it rolls. Oval roller elements divert the radial forces without subjecting the material to undue stress. Less friction means less wear and tear, reduced energy consumption and less thermal stress.
